You can reach Nagoya City, the largest city in Aichi Prefecture, in about an hour without using the Shinkansen. If you use the Shinkansen, you can reach Nagoya in 25 minutes and Tokyo in an hour and a half. There are few trams running on the road in front of the school in Japan, you can see colorful trains in advertisements.
There is also a large zoo where you can see 900 animals of 130 species, including polar bears.
Historically, there is a firework called Tedutsu Hanabi, which originated in Toyohashi City, and once you see it, you will surely be captivated by its gorgeousness and sound.
