About Toyohashi

Toyohashi is located at the South-East area of Aichi prefecture, a core city with population of about 370,000. (5th in the prefecture)

Also in recent years, the number of foreigners living in Toyohashi is the second largest in the prefecture.

Toyohashi Station near our school is a largest station where the Shinkansen stops.

You can reach Nagoya City, the largest city in Aichi Prefecture, in about an hour without using the Shinkansen. If you use the Shinkansen, you can reach Nagoya in 25 minutes and Tokyo in an hour and a half. There are few trams running on the road in front of the school in Japan, you can see colorful trains in advertisements.

There is also a large zoo where you can see 900 animals of 130 species, including polar bears.

Historically, there is a firework called Tedutsu Hanabi, which originated in Toyohashi City, and once you see it, you will surely be captivated by its gorgeousness and sound. There are many places to see on the Toyohashi Tourism Convention Association page, and there are many introductions to food, so please take a look.
